At Stewart Maple we make 3 different grades: Golden Color Delicate Taste, Amber Color Rich Taste, and Dark Color Robust Taste. As maple syrup color darkens, the maple flavor deepens and intensifies. We recommend Golden syrup be used on pancakes or stirred into yogurt, while Dark syrup be used in baking, cooking, or smoothies to stand out among other flavors. Of course, you can never go wrong with Amber...it's right in the middle! Different grades of maple syrup are available in most sizes, but we ship product based on grade availability.
