I did not realize these were not full sized incense sticks but rather tiny wands with a stick not even long enough to grip with fingertips. I'm not sure how they would work in a holder? After testing, my opinion is that the faint aroma does not resemble the aroma of smudging authentic palo wood sticks, which is what I was aiming for. I am glad I did not order this item in bulk and will just stick using wood.
