Rice Berry (black rice) is of high nutritional value. Its taste is reminiscent of hazelnut and hot bread, releasing cocoa aromas at the end of cooking. Its deep purple color is mainly due to its high anthocyanin content. It is a cholesterol-lowering food and is therefore recommended to protect against cardiovascular weakness. This variety obtained the bronze medal at the Epicures de l'Épicerie Fine in 2021. Rice in Thailand has been grown identically for over 4,500 years. The philosophy of nature has been perpetuated for centuries in respect of ancestral traditions and the environment. It is considered in this country to be a sacred cereal. The products we market mainly come from rice fields located in the north of the country on a plateau 460 meters above sea level near the “Golden Triangle”. Rice thus benefits from the heat and humidity necessary for its growth.
