The intricate pattern on our hand-dyed Batik Bandana is crafted by skilled artisans in Indonesia using a 700-year-old batik technique. * This fabric is made from tightly woven cotton fabric that feels more substantial than the flowy thinner bandana fabric. * This bandana is made from white cotton fabric that is then hand-stamped and hand-dyed using 700 years old batik wax and dye technique. The batik fabric is also then sun baked. You should expect some variation of the color. * This pattern is called Bunga Bangkai Pink, or Corpse Flower. This batik pattern is modeled after an actual flower Corpse Flower that exist in Sumatra, Indonesia. * The corpse flower or Rafflesia arnoldii, and has a rotten corpse smell. Its bloom can be as large as 8 feet wide and it only blooms 2-3 days every 2-3 years. * Size: 21.5”x21.5” * Due to the pre-washing process and the use of hot wax in its creation, our bandana may have slight variations in shape, resulting in a non-perfect square. This minor shrinkage is a natural part of the traditional batik process, adding to the uniqueness of each piece. * Made with 100% cotton fabric * Machine washable in cold and air dry.
