100% pure and natural essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops of Rosmarinus officinalis camphoriferum. A shrub native to the Mediterranean scrublands and maquis, Rosemary is one of the "herbes de Provence" listed among the aromatics of Vespasian, well known for its delicious flavor in culinary dishes. Cultivated in France, it is also produced around the Mediterranean basin where it grows easily (Morocco, Italy, Spain). Its blue-violet flowers bloom from January to May. Rosemary has several chemotypes depending on the place of cultivation. All contain camphor but in different proportions, with Camphor Rosemary containing an average of 20%. These different chemotypes give it various properties not to be confused. Highly symbolic in Italy, Rosemary was cultivated three millennia ago between the Tigris and Euphrates for its multiple virtues.
