🧽 This cheeky little number is our plastic-free compressed cellulose sponge. These natural sponges are made from wood pulp and cotton, unlike most common sponges which are made from plastic fibres that shed microplastics into our water courses and don't biodegrade. This sponge is 100% biodegradable at the end of life. When you get your sponge it will be compressed. Simply pop it into your washing-up bowl of water and watch it expand! ​​​Once expanded it will stay in this form and is a fast-drying hygienic sponge that doesn't absorb odour. Perfect for use with our elmkind washing-up liquids to tackle those greasy pots and pans. These sponges are super absorbent (they hold up to 10x their dried weight) so can suck up any little spills in and around the home for a quick easy clean.
