Popotillo (Straw) Art Cross Medium Religiousl Scenes. Popotillo is a long-standing traditional folk art in Mexico. A bed of beeswax is placed over the wood and the images are then created by placing different hand-tinted color straws over it. The popotillo pieces are individually cut and placed one by one forming a beautiful image, These works of art are crafted by Maria Salome from Central Mexico. I love my product it was crafted so beautifully. The colors are amazing and vibrant. The only thing I didn’t like was how long it took the dates kept changing, but I don’t think that had anything to do with the company. It actually had to do with FedEx. I love your product and I will definitely buy more.
