Our **65% Dark Chocolate Bar** is made with **wild cacao**, harvested from deep within the **Brazilian Amazon Rainforest**—the true birthplace of all cacao on Earth. Unlike cultivated cacao, this wild variety grows naturally in the forest, untouched by human hands until it’s time to harvest. The pods are **smaller, the beans more delicate**, and the flavors strikingly unique—**earthy, fruity, and full of mystery**, unlike any cacao from Bahia or other regions. We proudly source our cacao through a **local cooperative**, which buys whole pods directly from forest communities who respectfully gather them by hand. Aside from Arcelia's chocolate being delicious - it always arrived so carefully packaged for shipping and insulated to protect it from heat or cold. Her chocolate is well loved by our loyal chocolate lovers.

Took a risk buying these as we'd not tried the bars before (we're in the UK). Really pleased we did as they are fantastic bars. Excellent flavours, great ethics, beautiful packaging. Samples were a bonus too, especially as this meant we could check for any temperature damage during shipping, which was unlikely as they were very well packaged in appropriately sized polystyrene box (no, we don't like polystyrene, but it's better than spoiled chocolate :) )
