Soapstone is a soft rock that is capable of being carved and etched to great deal without fracturing. This is a symbol of both the aesthetics and talent of Vietnamese workers. Mined from the mountains of Quang Ninh, this soapstone was designed, carved and painted to produce a complete masterpiece. It takes hours to finish and ultimately become a one of a kind piece.  This carving measures 6 1/4" tall (16 cm)
