“Bou de Vara” is the fishing method which gives its name to our tinned food. We chose it because it identifies with our vision which is traditional and deeply-rooted in the seafaring world. Its use is only authorised in the Ría de Arousa area and occupies a prominent place in the history of the people from the town of Rianxo (ES). During the last few months of the year, when catching is permitted, the Bou de Vara flotte comes to port with, among others, its star product: the “Volandeira”.
