Originally created in Japan hundreds of years ago when Zen monks mixed green tea with rice stuck to the bottom of their cauldrons, Genmaicha is now a staple, household beverage in Japan and a rising trend in cosmopolitan centers around the world. Japanese green tea and fire-toasted rice fill each cup with a nutty, filling, uniquely Asian flavor. The satisfying, smooth, warming flavor of this tea makes Genmaicha a popular diet aid.

Shipping time was phenomenal! But, that aside - the packaging is beautiful and the testers are so cute and such a great way to let people get a whiff! Amazing variety of teas to choose from - some I haven't been able to find in organic before! I am already looking to order more based of some samples I got for myself to try! (Vintage Pu-erh!!!!) Won't be disappointed.
