Elegant line variations with a double broad tip. Looking to add flair to your handwriting? The Cursive Italic nib is specially designed to create stunning line variations, making every stroke unique. This italic nib features a smooth, rounded tip with slightly flattened sides, offering two distinct writing surfaces: a broader downstroke (approx. 1mm ± 0.1) and a fine horizontal stroke (as thin as 0.2mm). The "cursive" in its name reflects the flowing, elegant script it produces, while the "BB" designation stands for "double broad," meaning the nib creates lines twice as wide as a standard broad nib. Made exclusively for our fountain pens, all nibs are tipped with hard-wearing iridium for effortlessly smooth writing and are plated in 14k gold for a classic, elegant finish. Plus, every nib is interchangeable, allowing you to effortlessly switch styles whenever inspiration strikes.
