Description
This is a beautiful Hampton Nautical 6-inch Antique Brass Round Sundial Compass with Rosewood Box. The top of the sundial is hinged and a curved scale is used to set your local latitude angle. The magnetic compass allows the sundial to be oriented North. The compass features a needle lift mechanism to protect the compass' jeweled bearing when being transported. There are three adjustable legs that are used to precisely level the sundial. The sun's shadow cast by the sundial's vane marks the local time. The top of the sundial can lay down flat, and both the latitude scale and the sundial vane are hinged to lay flat for compact storage. A beautiful hardwood case is included for display and storage of the antique brass sundial.

Brass Paperweight Compass w/ Rosewood Box 3"

I placed my first order with Hampton and was excited to see the products. The items in stock shipped quickly. I ordered 40 compasses in a box for a special presentation. I was notified they were a close out and out of stock. I tried to work with the supplier to substitute another compass in box. They answered my communication initially and then just stopped trying to help me or answer at all leaving me in a jam for this presentation. I found an alternate supplier who has been so helpful.
