Bibhitaki is said to help to maintain normal body temperature. It also helps to improve our defence system against pollution, smoke etc and helps to control throat irritation. Baheda is also thought to help to eliminate waste matter (such as urine, sweat, carbon dioxide or faeces) from body through kidney, lungs, skin and may act as a support for eyes. It aids in maintaining the cholesterol level & blood pressure that are already within the normal limits. Bibhitaki is also thought to help against the premature graying of hair and helps to extract extra mucus from the chest, so in turn aids comfortable breathing. It is also believed to act as mild laxative and help in destroying the worms of stomach.
