Description
Non-USA customers may require special import permit for shell products. Dimensions: 12” x 8.25” x 24” (30cm x 21cm x 61cm). ~~~~~~ Our capiz chimes are made up of a stunning array of shapes and colors. They sparkle in the light, and when placed outside, create a gentle tinkling of the shells. Our capiz supply comes from a fishing village in Java, where our shell artisans sustainably harvest the shells and shape them. All parts of the capiz (jingle oyster) are used; the meat is used for food, the main part of the shell for handicraft, and the shell waste for fertilizer. Only full-grown shells are picked from the kelp beds, where they grow, which provides more space and food source for the young ones to grow. All our Capiz chimes are made with care in our fair trade, in-house workshop in Bali.

Love their chimes, have ordered for 3+ yrs now - people love them and come back each year to add to the collection. I've had one hanging for three years and it's still hanging out!! Such great product and great to work with.

This is my second year ordering these. I hang two at my entrance and people say they hear the chimes 50 ft away and they just draw you in. They hold up better than other companies, the strongest winds will loose a few shells. The color also seems to remain bright.

I cannot keep their capiz windchimes in stock. They sell like crazy and even though they are super delicate, I have never had a broken one, knock on wood!
