Vissen and Heinen Delfts Blue are inextricably linked. The family business's roots lie in the fishing village of Spakenburg, where grandfather Heinen was a fisherman for butter BU7. More and more fishing disappeared and the generation that followed made the switch to Delft blue painting. The fish have always stayed and are still happily swimming around.
