Never thought to use the hi-lo raglan tops for embroidery but the 100% polyester shirts take embroidery very well even though they're on the thin side. I would use a little caution with the sizing on the ruffle shirts specifically the pinks that I received. 1 of them had "off" measurements. I re-measured them all to make an accurate size chart in inches & the Pink 5T measured 2" longer than the Youth XS(6T). Other than that, I am super pleased with the quality of the items
