I brought back my first hammock from a trip, and when I looked for a similar one, I realized that this variant was not yet available for purchase in Europe. A few years later, I visited the island where the Slomocks are produced again to establish a relationship with the manufacturers. Today, I run my passion business, and because you need two trees for a hammock, we plant two mangroves per sale to offset the impact on climate and the environment. The Slomocks are made on an island in the Gulf of Thailand. There, they provide an additional source of income in a small fishing village and enable the children to attend school. Not infrequently, the hammocks are used by the locals as a place to sleep. Inspired by the tropical vibes, we decided to bring this beautiful, relaxing product to Europe while supporting the island's inhabitants.
