Hi, I’m Kathryn! I am a freelance graphic designer and book illustrator based in Wilmington, NC. After studying illustration at Ohio Wesleyan University and graduating in 2001, I started my design career in publishing at Welcome Books in NYC, followed by Penguin Random House. In 2007 I moved to Philadelphia where I was a graphic designer at The Franklin Institute and local non profit organizations. While I love working with typography and print layout, I also adore drawing and painting! Combining the two has opened up a world of stationery and accessory design based on my favorite books and historical figures. I’m originally from Connecticut and have found my home in various cities along the east coast of the US. I love to travel, especially to my spirit country of the United Kingdom.
