We’re KA (Kaylie-Ann) and Miranda, two sisters who started a tan brand. While KA is the “wild child”, Miranda is a mum of 2 and oldest sibling. What is the one thing we have in common? We both loooove a good tan. Originally from Canada, and now calling Australia home, we are very much aware of the dangers of the sun, so we naturally turn to self-tanners when we want to get our pins out in a new skirt or feel like we’ve just came back from holidays (even if we're at home in our track pants). But there were two things that never really jived with us: Firstly, why is it so hard to find a good self-tanning mousse?! They’re either too streaky, sticky, stinky, orange, or full of not-so-nice ingredients. Secondly, almost all tan (and beauty) brands use models and brand ambassadors that don’t represent us – their ‘average consumer’. So, we did what rebels do: we went our own way and set out to create an amazing tan, that was ethical, cruelty-free, and as natural as possible (what other way is there?!). Once we had the right formula in place, we set about creating a brand that was inclusive and inspiring. And we didn’t just mean occasionally sprinkling in some different bodies, we really wanted to celebrate our diversity, embrace our uniqueness, and love our imperfections.
