Welcome to my tiny world! I am a painter with a passion for creating miniature works of art using watercolor and gouache that contain as much detail as I can convey in a 1.25" x 1.25" space. My goal is to get the closest likeness to the subject as possible creating unique and intriguing images. My subjects are based on everyday objects that resonate with me such as childhood toys, favorite foods, or current fads. Art has always been a big part of my life. My mother was an artist and my father was a mechanical engineer. I attended Kent State University for graphic design and worked as an art director for 15 years and did not start painting until 2009. I was working on larger paintings and had a hard time finishing when I decided to try going smaller and I finally found my calling. Take a look around and enjoy the little things!
