In organic farming for more than 50 years, the Domaine des 5 Autels has produced excellent ciders: without sulphites, spontaneous fermentation from indigenous yeasts and foaming using ancestral methods. The estate also produces apple juice and Calvados for up to 25 years of aging. In these Normandy lands, 4 generations of enthusiasts succeed one another. Abel founded the farm at the beginning of the 20th century, Maurice converted it to organic farming in 1967, Jean René and Claude planted 12ha of apple trees there in the early 1980s. Since 2019, Thibault has continued the family adventure while respecting the values of his ancestors, “agricultural methods that respect nature for exceptional products.” The estate has been certified biodynamic since 2022
