Bohemian modernist brand that delivers a new informal way of beauty. Italian design, made in The Netherlands, the brand is Founded in 2022 by Cecilia Serafini. Maison Spleen focuses on recovering a contemporary approach toward ancestral techniques and craftsmanship in the most sustainable way possible. Our pieces are unique & made to order only, in this way we avoid overproduction and provide an even more humane and personalized service. All fabrics are sourced from deadstock and everything is hand dyed using plants, flowers and roots. Natural dyeing is a much healtier approach than the conventional, synthetic dyeing and teaches us on a daily basis how essential a holistic vision is. From earth to pigment, an infinity of variables set the tone, so you need to recognize them and be aware of how they react. Precisely because of this, each piece is unique and special, different from the others.
