Talofa, My name is Grace, and I am the founder of Suga With Spice. At Suga With Spice, we create candles that narrate the stories of our people and our culture. We are a Samoan/Black owned business, based in San Jose, California. Our roots trace back to Hawaii, where we were born, and American Samoa, where we grew up. Suga With Spice embodies the essence of our heritage. In Samoa, "Suga" is a term used to refer to females, while "With Spice" highlights our African American heritage. Our goal is to showcase the stunning beauty and vibrant colors of our islands through our passion for candles. Many people may never experience the splendor of our islands, so we aim to share it with you through our creations.
