Tionna Bishop is the founder and owner of Bishops Coffee & Tea and a native of Berkeley, California. Bishop has over 27 years of experience in the coffee industry. At the age of 17, it was at a local California bakery where she first learned how to use a technique of master coffee roasters. Bishop eventually moved to Atlanta to attend the Cappelli Institute and later moved to Destin, Florida and launched Bishops Coffee & Tea in June of 2007. In 2009 Bishop began experimenting with electric roasting, which produces coffee with low acidity and a smooth profile, and in 2010 launched her first Bishop’s Coffee & Tea retail store in Mary Esther Florida. Bishop’s Coffee and Tea brand has been a success and you can find on the shelves of several grocery outlets in Florida. 'I have made this my passion in life.
