While many know me as a hair stylist of 20 years, it’s my passion for helping people first and hair second. You see, I believe that the two go hand-in-hand; when you look beautiful, you feel beautiful from the inside out. My story began when I struggled with my health and hair loss. After undergoing weight loss surgery in 2017, I lost over 200 pounds but my hair was falling out. This took a toll on me personally, I didn’t feel confident because I felt terrible. Desperate for something to change, I began to develop the CityGrl Professional product line with my journey in mind. Rejuvenation and correction were key for me to “detox” my hair from so many harsh chemicals.
