Story time: It all started with an “ok babes” – A phrase that would become so ubiquitous for my friends and I over the summer of 2018 that we had no choice but to show up for our last semester of college brazenly (and drunkenly) rocking the very first iteration of those shirts. Me and 7 other belligerent friends, running around Penn’s campus making everyone curious (and jealous) of our shirts. Fast forward 4 years: a cross country move and a cultural vibe shift, many, many hours of self doubt, hundreds of “this should be a shirt” texts, and many nights where I furiously typed down shirt ideas on my phone notes while still processing the shot of tequila I'd just taken. Those shirts are born out of the everyday banter, that joke that just becomes a thing for your friend group, that amazing comeback you’re still proud of years later. Those shirts are a way to make an instant connection with any stranger.
