Hillary Manson is an artist based in Guilford, Maine who makes colorful and whimsical art inspired by nature. Her work is energetic and joyful, contrasting realistic details with oversaturated colors and playful patterns of dots and swirls. Her favorite subjects include mushrooms, dogs, and landscapes. She works across a variety of media from acrylic and gouache painting to drawing and digital art. Manson graduated from the University of Maine in Orono with a degree in Studio art in 2020. Now, she travels around the state to sell her work at art fairs, runs an online store hillarymansonart.com, shows her work in galleries and creates custom artwork on commission.
