Hi, I’m Laura. I create charming hand-drawn illustrations for use as greeting cards, home decor, coloring books, and gift items. I enjoy creating work that warms the heart and gravitate towards endearing animals and floral designs. I’ve always enjoyed engaging with art, which is why I pursued a bachelor’s in Art History and then a master’s in Art Education. It was while teaching art to elementary students that I really found my own artistic voice. Those young, uninhibited artists inspired me. I would go home from work with a thirst to create that I hadn’t felt before. I have since had a son and now stay at home with him and pursue my art. Currently, I have been selling my work independently on Etsy and local shops in Portland, and have published one coloring book. My husband and I live in Portland, Oregon with our young son. When I’m not creating art or playing with my son, you will probably find me on a hike or a run, or snuggled in a chair with a novel and coffee.
