Milk Handmade is owned and operated by Chicago-native Hallie Borden. Hallie is passionate about supporting local artists and businesses, and opened her clothing store Milk in the spring of 2012 as a creative outlet for herself and the entire Chicago design community. In 2018, 5 years after opening Milk, Hallie Borden launched the eponymous clothing label. Designed by Hallie and made ethically and sustainably in Chicago, Milk offers high-end design and quality at an accessible price point. Each garment is meticulously fit-tested and looks good on a variety of body types. Hallie creates her line from the perspective of a shop owner, so sellability is a high-priority.
