I'm Shauna, the artist who creates art with fire! This art is originally made by setting ink on fire to create the aurora-like backgrounds. I then paint in images inspired by my adventures as a guide in the Canadian wilderness. As a full-time artist since 2019 my goal is to create art that your customers can't wait to treasure or gift; whether to commemorate the beauty of Canada, or to celebrate the adventurous life. When I say that my all my work is "created to spark joy" I mean it. As a guide for over 20 years in the Canadian Rockies creating art is a way to capture and share the immense joy I feel when I am exploring out there. This art is unlike anything you will ever find, I am not aware of anyone else who has developed these techniques that create the aurora-like backgrounds. All of the art is conceived, designed and produced in Canada. I love working with retailers, going above and beyond to support you in ensuring your success. I first started by doing original/commission work and expanded in 2019 to include a wholesale line of select artwork for retailers and just recently joined Faire. I have found that many customers return to buy multiples as gifts for family and friends. For first orders above $250 (Canadian $) I am happy to provide a complimentary branded wooden display box and orders above $350 include a 10" video display that plays a silent looping video of how it's created.
