Our Founder & "Head Hottee", Brandon Fassberg launched The Avocado Club in 2017 as an Instagram account at @joinavocadoclub for creatives of all kinds to share their unapologetic obsession with the almighty avocado. Growing up in Queens, New York motivated him to create memorable food-based content & experiences inspired by his unique, culturally-diverse community. That and having two very talented chef & restauranteur parents! Since then, The Avocado Club has welcomed over 15,000+ social media followers to our channels and continues to grow every day. We even hosted the first ever city-wide guacamole competition in NYC, "The Guac Bowl" to raise awareness for struggling restaurants due to the pandemic. We launched Hottee Aguacatee ("hot-tee ahh gwah cot-tee") hot sauce on Kickstarter in late 2020 to create an edible representation of what The Avocado Club stands for. Community. Collaboration. Health. Wellness. Positivity. Each and every 8 oz glass bottle is handmade by Brandon and his team using only produce from Queens-based markets. Hottee Aguacatee also acts as an effective vehicle for sharing our official social cause #AvocadosAgainstAnxiety where we donate a % of sales to organizations fighting anxiety & depression around the world. Avocados relieve stress, you know! The Avocado Club is only getting started. We have plans for additional hot sauce SKUs, brand collaborations, events and maybe even a food truck?
