We are a retailer. We get acknowledge when we receive the info about the package bough by a customer, and if and when they come back to store to tell us. Otherwise we are responsible for that. We do not open any popcorn packages and reseal it to confirm the quality. If the package is bad before its expiry the producer should be liable for that. I would forward this issue to FDA as well as Better Business Buerau and let them give a chance to decide what should be done.
