Description
The origins of the ginger jar date back to China's Qin Dynasty that spanned 221 to 206 BC. It was not until they were exported to Europe in the 19th century that their use transitioned from storage to decorative. Our vintage Ginger Jars are made from clay and kiln-fired with an aqua-colored glaze. This is a vintage item. Size and condition will vary.

This was my first order from Blue Ocean Traders and I was very happy with the items I selected. It was a mixture of wood items, large and small pottery pieces, and they were packed with care and everything arrived safely. They shipped really quickly, too.
