This Johnny LTD design features an old Spanish doubloon coin replica that's been cast in solid bronze. Spanish coins like these were prevalent in the 16th and 17th centuries. They were created by hand, so new two were exactly alike. This coin began making its way to North America as Spanish ships carried them through the Caribbean to trade for commodities. Pirates raided many of the ships and also used them for trade. Over the years, shipwrecks containing massive amounts of these coins have been discovered deep in the ocean.
