Phaseolus vulgaris HEIRLOOM. These are the classic slender and delicate French green beans known as haricots verts or filet beans in the world of gourmet cooking. An abundant, concentrated set of stringless, 6- to 7-inch beans grow on 2-foot tall plants. Maxibel bush beans can be direct-seeded in the garden after all danger of frost has passed. They prefer full sun and well-draining soil. Beans will be ready to pick in about 65 days. 14 gram packet contains approximately 60 seeds.
