From the photos you provided, the reason the product leans backward is that it contains a lot of small pieces of foam inside. After being compressed for shipping, the foam rebounds unevenly when unboxed. This can usually be fixed by picking the product up and giving it a few firm pats. Pay attention to where the foam seems thinner and focus your pats there. This will help speed up the rebound process and should resolve the leaning issue. I see you purchased two of these.
