INSIDE GREETING: Isn't Friendship Grand! Warm and inviting, this charming dinner scene is extracted from the pages of Old Man Rabbit's Dinner Party (1949) by Carolyn Sherwin Bailey. Within this endearing tale, the eponymous rabbit's generous act brings warmth and joy to friends who were once cold and hungry. Information about the illustrator of this book, credited simply as "Robinson," reveals him to be the German-born artist Werner Kruse (1910-1994), who adopted his pen name from Daniel Defoe's renowned character, Robinson Crusoe. Kruse is celebrated for his unique "X-ray style" books, particularly those showcasing major cities. In these works, he provided intricate, detailed illustrations that depicted both the exteriors and interiors of buildings within the cities, offering a fascinating and comprehensive view of urban life. This product was custom designed and created at our location in Seattle.

They are still here and so am I! Years after finding this brand in Atlanta during a summer show, it is a true pleasure to find them here. I love both the quality & the humor of the products. I grew up with Golden Books. Seeing these cards, oh my! And, I still have some of mine at 73 yrs "young"! This one reminded me of winning a teacher/student hula hoop contest before full audience in the gym. I won against a little teen cheerleader ... and made the front page of the local paper!
