Wholesale Wood Palmette Faux Gauges~ Surgical Steel ear wires

These pretty little faux gauges are styled after Anthemion or Palmette designs, the stylized patterns of palm leaves and honeysuckle used in Greek and Egyptian art. They are hand carved from exotic hardwood, which is recycled from the off-cuts of the traditional Balinese carving trade. Each earring is finished with standard size surgical steel ear wires that fit snugly into inset rubber in the back piece. These are fun, fierce, feminine earrings that give you all the fun of the gauged look without the commitment of stretching your lobes! The ear wires have a small curve to give them a realistic gauged look. They should be opened and closed by gently twisting the fronts and backs, finding the 'sweet spot' where they slide together easily. Wood may be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth when necessary. Each earring is roughly 2 and 1/4 inches long (52mm) and 1 and 1/4 inches wide (31mm). The wood we used for my current batch is darker and cooler in color.
