We love sour candies, but most are artificially flavored and colored concoctions developed for kids. We thought, why not make a naturally flavored acid-forward candy that's balanced for a more adult palate? Using a combination of fruit acids and premium fruit juices, we went to work. The result is our FruiTarts line of sour pates de fruits. Like our other pates de fruits, each batch takes weeks from start to finish due to our secret reduction process which intensifies the flavor and produces the perfect texture. All are gluten free, fat free, naturally flavored and vegan friendly, made with no animal products. Cherry, a rather delicate flavor, can be difficult to balance, and anyone who's had a cough drop probably knows the taste of fake cherry pretty well. This candy is very different. Made with real tart cherry juice, the true cherry flavor of this confection is amazing.
