Description
The Scandinavian name Erika means “eternal ruler + forever strong”. For us, the concentric rings of this design, evoke images of a warrior's shield – something to protect + remind us of our own strength. The center of each acrylic piece features a gold-fill metal circular hoop that's been hammered flat, surrounded by hand painted metallic rings. This special piece is then hand shaped with a variety of jewelers tools, hand sanded + buffed to a matte/brushed finish. · measures 1 3/4" on an adjustable 18-20" gold-fill {g} rolo chain · gold-fill or oxidized sterling silver hardware. Metal choice (notated as {s} or {g} ) is displayed with the color options below. · made of 65% pre-consumer upcycled acrylic · hand-sanded smooth to a matte finish resembling the texture + finish of stone · durable though please store carefully so as not to scratch · hand-crafted in our California studio + meticulously hand fabricated by the artist

Bird of virtue offers incredible color combinations in her jewelry that are changing all the time. I was having trouble completing my order on Faire and I contacted her.
