Steep for 5-20 minutes, then strain. After rinsing out shampoo (or simply wetting hair), massage tea into scalp and entire length of hair. Rinse out with water. If desired, these herbs have been used to darken hair (and grays) when the tea is left in the hair for ~8 hours before rinsing out.
