Description
Water poppies are adorable little pond plants with tri-pleated yellow blooms. Their blooms will spread across the surface of the water with lily-like green pads. They also add cover for fish and take up excess nutrients. Water poppies spread by extending their stems across the surface of the water. Scientific Name: Hydrocleys nymphoides Height: Flowers can grow to 2 - 3 inches tall Width: 2' Bloom Time Blooms all summer long Fertilize: Fertilize throughout the growing/blooming season (June through September) Propagate: By stem cuttings Hardiness Zones: 9 - 11
