Each 4" stick burns for about 30 to 35 mins. These sticks are shorter than average but they burn for a comparable amount of time to the long commercial varieties that are filled with fragrance oils and burn much hotter and faster. My rose incense is made with real red rose petals and white sandalwood powder. As always I add my own ratio of makko for burning purposes and then acacia gum and water are used to bind it! This "dough" is layered onto raw untreated bamboo sticks by me and my team in our studio in beautiful BC, Canada. Roses, especially red, are a symbol of love and have been cultivated as such for 1000s of years dating back to the ancient Greeks and Romans.
