These baskets are a classic Tonga style made in the remote Binga district in Zimbabwe, home of the Balonga people and the Businiwa Community. They are the master weavers of these amazingly beautiful baskets. Following ancient traditions, women still use small vines, wild grasses and ilala palm leaves to weave these intricate patterns. Originally used for winnowing maize in rural areas, this collection of baskets will add a beautiful and functional handmade piece to a home. **Pattern of each basket will vary** Available in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large. I find it annoying that there are no official documents available for the import duties that need to be paid at the time of delivery. I asked to pay by credit card and the driver needed to come back because he did not have a payment terminal with him. The next day he came back, I paid by MC but there are no official documents for my accountancy available.
