With all of my handmade ceramic earrings I strive for what I call “Handmade Elegance”. I love creating elegant pieces of work while making sure some of their authentic handmade nature shines through. Each of these uniquely made earrings are cut from a sheet of stoneware clay, fired in a kiln, glazed and then hand painted with a 24K gold paint which is fired and fused on in the kiln as well. The 24k gold takes the texture of the glaze below usually either, matte, satin, or shiny. The earrings are glazed on both sides meaning if they are shiny on one side, they are shiny on both sides. They are Gold painted on only one side. Due to this beautiful handmade process minor differences in earring length, color, and shape may be present between pairs. Listed product lengths are approximate and include ear hook lengths. The length is partially dependent on exactly how far I push the wire into the clay so exact length does vary from pair to pair but each earring is made as close as possible in length for its match. All Ear Wires will be as pictured, antiqued brass Nickel Free ear wires, unless you choose to the customize option where you may select gold filled ear wires, this will add an additional $2 fee.
