Chocolate makes everything better. The same can be said about alfajores. Another spin on the classic Argentinian alfajor, this chocolate version adds another layer of rich flavor to this already delicious cookie. To make our chocolate alfajor, we start with two crumbly chocolate cookies, fill them with rich dulce de leche, and cover them in a thin layer of chocolate. Sound amazing? That’s because they are. Shelf life: 15 weeks.

This is my third order from the company, and this order was very sad for me. My first order had a couple of crumbled cookies, but I assumed that it was because the traditional alfajors are not coated. My second order, chocolate and lemon alfajors, was perfect. This order was extremely disappointing. Cookies were melted, although stored in a cool place. I have one or two good alfajors, but most look like this. It's sad because my customers love the flavor of these cookies.
