Description
Jargon Sacha is a sustainable understory plant, found plentifully beneath the amazon rainforest canopy, which produces bright orange-red seeds that resemble berries. Jargon Sacha is considered a "Signature plant" in that the appearance of its stem resembles the poisonous jararaca snake (also called jargon Sacha in the amazon), with one of its primary, traditional uses as an anti-venin and herbal antidote for snake bites. It is concurrently used for a variety of infectious bites and as a vulnerary (wound healer) including sting rays, spiders, venomous and biting insects, incidents of poisoning, and for virulent skin diseases such as scabies (skin mites), skin sores, and mange.

We were eager to find and carry this in our store. The packaging is a little disappointing. The bags don't have hangers or holes, and they don't stand on their own. We used a hole punch to hang them on our merchandise racks. While it may seem obvious that they are turmeric, the packaging lacks an actual "Ingredients" label/listing. Some customers have wondered if it's 100% turmeric or what else is in it.
