Alpaca fiber is considered by the fashion industry to be one the greenest, most natural and luxurious fibers in the world. This fiber comes from small artisanal farmers in the Peruvian highlands who work by traditional farming methods and a close eye sustainability. Alpaca is supple and smooth to the touch and because of the featherweight, it’s ultra-light. Alpaca is softer than cashmere and warmer and stronger than lamb’s wool. It contains microscopic air pockets which create lightweight clothing with excellent insulating properties. It is a completely natural fiber and there is no use of harsh chemicals in production. The knowledge and craftsmanship of spinning and knitting has been passed down from generation to generation. Material: 75% Alpaca + 25% Wool. Fair Trade Peru artisan made.

I've only purchased the alpaca throws and Turkish cotton blankets but they are a big hit! I've noticed people talking about already owning and how good the quality is. They're also really starting to recognize the brand itself and the quality they produce. As a small business that hand makes 99% of my products, this brand and their quality are a valued addition to my offerings. I will continue ordering and can't wait to expand my line of slate and salt products.
