Description
Recycled glass beads are a type of indigenously produced African bead from Ghana in West Africa. These beautiful blue recycled beads are made using an old method that has been used for centuries. The glass itself is derived from a variety of recycled sources including old beverage and medicine bottles. The procedure for making the beads consists of a number of steps whereby powdered glass is poured into molds of clay and baked in a specialized oven. These beads are produced in large part by the Krobo tribe and through recycling glass are environmentally friendly. Some strands may not have raffia. Please inquire in advance if required.

I googled pricing after receiving my products because I couldn't believe the pricing that I was having to mark these for the size that they are. (Many lengths are left off their descriptions). I found that their website thebeadchest.com sells direct to customers for $2 or less over what we buy it for depending on how many the customer purchases AND free shipping over $99. I paid nearly $30 on an almost $400 order. Will be returning.
